Yes. Introducing YNCubator, a venture accelerator built by and for the YNC community to help its would-be founders overcome the economic, strategic, and reputational impediments to successfully launching and growing for-profit companies, non-profit organizations, and artistic or cultural enterprises.

So many balloon shots, only one place to showcase them. If the space above is unfamiliar to you, that’s because you’re young… congrats! RC4’s MPH never looked better than when a bunch of 2017ers celebrated the beginning of their, and their college’s, remarkable journey.

As we approach 2025, the impending closure of Yale-NUS College presents us with a profound question: what does it mean to be “of Yale-NUS” when our school no longer exists? This question transcends the loss of our campus or the dispersal of our community. It challenges us to redefine ourselves as we fight to preserve what made Yale-NUS extraordinary.
YNCubator emerges as our response to this challenge. No mere nostalgia play, it is the means by which we intend to deepen our bonds of kinship and assertively reclaim and enhance our legacy.
Our community has always been our most cherished asset. YNCubator will provide physical spaces not just to house Fellows and nurture their creativity, but to draw us together for social and cultural exchange.
The response to our V1 vision statement, published in late May, has been extraordinary: over 400 people from all corners of the YNC family formally endorsed it. Your support reflects a shared conviction: the YNC spirit must live on. May we take pride in our stubborn refusal to acquiesce.
We we are deeply grateful to everyone who offered us the feedback we and our 36 friends and colleagues on the Phase 2 ExCo relied on to produce this updated vision statement. If you are ready to share in our journey, or simply keen to cheer us on, we invite you to take two minutes to add your endorsement, each and every one of which helps us demonstrate to prospective donors just how much their generosity would mean to the Yale-NUS family.
Sincerely,
May Wang, Graduate ‘22; [email protected]

We have signed a Joint Statement with the Yale-NUS Club:
We have secured an endorsement from the Yale-NUS Consulting Group, which, in the wake of the closure, will continue to provide its services to small businesses and startups of precisely the sort YNCubator aims to enroll. Find the MOU between YNCG’s co-Presidents and YNCubator’s co-Executive Directors here:
We did not seek endorsement from the Yale-NUS administration.
